Winnebago Industries, Inc. LED Backlight Circuit Board Failure May Cause Fire

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Sunstar, Vista, 2022-2023 Cambria, Inspire, 2023 Forza, 2024 Minnie Winnie, Spirit, 2024-2025 Porto and Vita motorhomes. The LED backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail, causing the board to overheat.

A circuit board that overheats increases the risk of a fire.

Dealers will replace the cooktop control panel, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed by June 25, 2024. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 184.

Highland Ridge RV: LED Backlight Circuit Board Failure May Cause Fire

Highland Ridge RV (Highland Ridge) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Mesa Ridge TT, Mesa Ridge XLT FW, Open Range Roamer FW, Open Range TT, Silverstar TT, and Silverstar XLT FW trailers. The LED backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail, causing the board to overheat.

A circuit board that overheats increases the risk of a fire.

Dealers will disconnect and cut the circuit powering the LED backlights and terminate the wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed by May 30, 2024. Starcraft RV: LED Backlight Circuit Board Failure May Cause Fire

Starcraft RV (Starcraft) is recalling certain 2023 GSL fifth wheel trailers. The LED backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail, causing the board to overheat.

A circuit board that overheats increases the risk of a fire.

Newmar Corporation: LED Backlight Circuit Board Failure May Cause Fire

Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2022 Bay Star motorhomes. The LED backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail, causing the board to overheat.

A circuit board that overheats increases the risk of a fire.

Dealers will disconnect and cut the circuit powering the LED backlights and terminate the wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed by May 31, 2024. Owners may contact Newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300. Newmar's number for this recall is 610 RSB.

Alliance RV, LLC: Incorrect Breaker May Allow Circuit to Overheat

Alliance RV, LLC (Alliance) is recalling certain 2024 Avenue 22ML, 26RD, 29RL, 32RLS, 33RKS, 37MBR, and 38DBL travel trailers. The inverter circuit was improperly wired to a 30 amp breaker, which could allow the breaker to overheat.

A breaker that overheats increases the risk of a fire.

Dealers will install a 20 amp breaker, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 28, 2024. Owners may contact Alliance customer service at 1-574-218-7165.

Jayco, Inc.: Camera Control Module May Overheat

Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Entegra Aspire Class A motorhomes. The camera control module may have been installed upside down and flush to the floor, which can allow it to overheat and prevent the camera image from displaying.

A camera image that does not display decreases the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

Dealers will inspect the camera image, install two brackets and replace the module as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 7, 2024. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9903607.

Jayco, Inc.: Short Circuit from Incorrectly Routed Wiring

Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Jayco Terrain, and Entegra Launch motorhomes. The main wiring harness may chafe against the drive shaft and short circuit, which can result in a loss of drive power, power steering, and brake system control.

A short circuit increases the risk of a fire. In addition, a loss of drive power, power steering, and brake system control increases the risk of a crash.

Mercedes dealers will inspect the routing of the main wiring harness and correct it, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 7, 2024. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267.

Jayco, Inc.: Seat Belt Warning System Malfunction/FMVSS 208

Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain Jayco Swift, Swift LI, Entegra Coach Ethos, and Ethos LI motorhomes. The driver seat belt warning light and audible chime may not activate as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."

A malfunctioning seat belt warning system can result in improper seat belt use, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.

FCA dealers will inspect and replace the driver seat belt buckle as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 14, 2024. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267.

Airstream, Inc.: Generator May Be Missing Heat Shield

Airstream, Inc. (Airstream) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Atlas motorhomes. The generator may have been installed without a heat shield, which can expose the subflooring to excessive heat.

Flooring material exposed to heat increases the risk of fire and injury.

Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC: Incorrect Tire Size on Placard/FMVSS 120

Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC (Heartland) is recalling certain 2024 Eddie Bauer travel trailers. The tire placards indicate an incorrect tire size. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 120, "Wheels and Rims - Other Than Passenger Cars."

Incorrect tire size information can allow the incorrect tires to be installed on the trailer, increasing the risk of a crash.

Heartland will mail out replacement certification labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 15, 2024. Owners may contact Heartland customer service at 1-877-262-8032.

Winnebago Industries, Inc.: Air Bags May Fail to Deploy

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2017-2025 Revel, 2020-2025 Navion, Porto, View, Vita, 2022-2023 Adventure Van, and 2024-2025 Ekko motorhomes. 
Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) wires can be caught in the seat mechanism when the driver or passenger seats are adjusted.

Damaged wires can prevent air bags from deploying in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Oliver Travel Trailers, INC.: Towing Coupler Underrated For Vehicle Weight

Oliver Travel Trailers, INC. (OTT) is recalling certain 2009-2024 Elite II trailers. The towing coupler may be under rated for the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of the trailer.

An underrated towing coupler can break, allowing the trailer to detach from the tow vehicle and increasing the risk of a crash.

Dealers will replace the towing coupler, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 17, 2024. Owners may contact OTT customer service at 1-888-526-3978.

Forest River, Inc.: Incorrectly Wired Breakaway Switch

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024 Aurora ART26BHS travel trailers. The breakaway switch may be incorrectly wired, preventing the breakaway switch from activating if the trailer detaches from the tow vehicle.

A breakaway switch failure increases the risk of a crash.

Forest River, Inc.: Solar Panel May Detach From Roof

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Coachmen Nova NAB20C and NAB20D Class B motorhomes. The solar panel may detach from the pop-up roof.

A detached solar panel could become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc.: Missing Secondary Emergency Exit

Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Byway motorhomes. The secondary emergency exit in the bedroom was not installed.

A missing emergency exit window could prevent or delay the occupants from exiting in the event of an emergency, increasing the risk of injury.

Dealers will replace the bedroom window with an egress window, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 12, 2024. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is TIF-139.

Forest River, Inc.: Freshwater Tank May Detach

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Coachmen Independence Trail, 2020-2024 Viking, and 2021-2024 Clipper travel trailers. The freshwater tank may detach from the vehicle when full or overfilled.

A detached tank can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

Forest River, Inc.: Incorrectly Installed Furnace May Cause Fire

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024 Aurora and Catalina travel trailers. The furnace may have been installed directly on top of vinyl linoleum floor, which can allow the floor to overheat.

Overheated vinyl linoleum flooring increases the risk of a fire.

Dealers will install a panel between the furnace and the linoleum, free of charge. All affected vehicles are still in dealer inventory and therefore no owner notification letters will be mailed. Forest River, Inc.: Improperly Secured Gas Line May Cause Fire

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024 Solera, 2024-2025 Forester, and Sunseeker motorhomes. The Liquid Propane (LP) line may not be properly secured, which can cause the line to become damaged and leak.

A propane gas leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

Dealers will install a p-clamp to secure the LP line, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 26, 2024. Owners may contact Forest River Customer

Aluminum Trailer Company (ATC) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Toy Hauler 5th wheel trailers. The LED backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail, causing the board to 
overheat.

A circuit board that overheats increases the risk of a fire.
